Finding Torwood near Portree on the Isle of Skye: a local map

From Portree, take the Uig / Dunvegan road for approximately 4 miles. Turn left at the A850 road junction towards Dunvegan. Take the first road on the left signposted : PEINESS for 1 mile and 'TORWOOD' can be found second on the left.

There are airports at Glasgow, Edinburgh, Inverness and Aberdeen. 
The train leaves Inverness several times a day for Kyle of Lochlash only an hours leisurely drive from Torwood.

Ferries journey to the outer isles of Lewis, Harris and Uist and to Kyle and Mallaig on the mainland
